As part of a project funded by the Advanced Propulsion Centre’s Automotive Transformation Fund to support the decarbonisation of heavy-duty vehicles, Arcola Energy and NCC are undertaking a UK hydrogen supply chain capability assessment through a series of surveys.

The surveys will support the identification of UK supply chain opportunities with a view to develop a roadmap for future R&D and investment needs in this fast-growing segment, and cover the following areas:

• High power batteries

• Hydrogen storage

• Power electronics, motors and drives

• Thermal management, HVAC and auxiliaries

• Fuel cells

• Control systems, data and digital services
